Pharmacokinetics

Pharmacokinetics is one of the two main areas of research that make up the scientific subject of pharmacology. Clinical pharmacokinetics aims to improve a patient's pharmacological therapy's efficacy while reducing its toxicity. Clinicians can now apply pharmacokinetic principles to actual patient settings as a result of the identification of robust correlations between medication concentrations and pharmacologic reactions. The four primary factors that this field often looks at are absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME).
